2023 Squiggly River Play//Space Showcase

I was one of five game developers invited to bring a games project to the first Squiggly River Play//Space experimental and interactive games showcase evening.

I spent a month making a variety of gameplay tweaks, to create a refined version of my game, Raccoon Rubbish Removalists, in preparation for the event.

AGDAS + GCAP 2023: Empower Volunteer

Returning to volunteer for my second year in a row, I worked assisting the speakers, attendees, and press alongside the GCAP + IGEA staff.

This year I was lucky to assist with the incredible volunteer team for the AGDAs. We coordinated the successful running of the awards evening.

IGEA Educates Summit

I enjoyed a jam-packed day of discussion panels, Q&A's, Student Showcases, and games industry veteran advice forums for the 2023 IGEA Educates Summit.

Held on Discord with participants from all across Australia, It was a truly beneficial opportunity which I'm very glad I attended.

Girl Up Brisbane:
Empower Podcast

As President of Girl Up Brisbane, for Season 3 of the 'Empower' podcast, I was lucky to chat with our Club Founder and Vice-President about my experiences within the games industry.

I provided my insights on the importance of uplifting women in games and discussed what the theme of 'Empower' meant to me.

Games Direction

I gratefully accepted the award for "Most Outstanding Games Direction" at Griffith Film School's 2022 End-of-Year Showcase.

I was chosen for my efforts as Project Manager on Raccoon Rubbish Removalists.

Volunteer

I had the honor of being chosen as a volunteer for the 2022 Games Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) Conference.

Held in Melbourne during Melbourne International Games Week, I was able to meet some incredible people from the games industry while hearing an abundance of inspiring and intellectual talks.

For my role as a project leader within my 'Serious Games' class, I was interviewed for a Griffith News article. The article examined how video games can be used outside of entertainment to assist with education and spreading awareness of large world issues.
